Refers to the Graduate Management Admission Test GMAT is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council, or GMAC. This is a test required for admission to MBA programs at business schools in the majority of Europeans, Americans and Canadians. GMAT test results can also be used for admission to doctoral programs at Harvard Business School. The test measures the student's language and writing, and quantitative skills. Prepare for your GMAT

There are a number of steps they can take to prepare for the GMAT exam.

First, many people were taking the GMAT to school for a while. The GMAT expects you to know basic math and algebra and geometry. If you forget your formula, a simple refresher course in high school mathematics textbooks can make a world of good.

Vocabulary is another key to success on the GMAT. Review the word lists for access to the words may be tested.

Understanding the computer in a format adapted. The exam is administered on a computer, which means you can not skip questions. You can not underline or write on the written exam. Preparing for the GMAT: sample questions

Now that you are registered for the GMAT, it's time to get your nose in the books and start preparing. Here is information on the event format and the type of questions you can expect to find.

The GMAT consists of two multiple choice sections, quantitative and verbal as well as an essay, the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA). The quantitative section has 37 questions to answer in 75 minutes. The verbal section has 41 questions to answer in 75 minutes.

Quantitative §

Questions to the quantitative section will ask you to decide if the statements contain the information needed to answer questions. Sample GMAT Questions
